Belek Golf Course

The National was opened in late 1994, but it has taken only six years to win international recognition in the year 2000 rankings of UK's Golf World magazine as the number 42 and in the year 2001 rankings' as the number 39 golf course in mainland Europe, and is also ranked in Germany as the 9th best golf course on the European Mediterranean coast in 2000.

Here at Belek, five golf clubs are grouped in two pairs separated by a ten minute drive, there is a championship 18-hole course and also a 9 hole academy course. After my next visit in January I will post pictures of the golf courses on this website, they have to be seen to be believed. I will also have up to date pictures of the apartments. I hope to work in conjunction with the golf clubs, so we can arrange tee off times and travel arrangements to each course. I will know more in January after all my meetings with the various golf clubs.

It is also known as a bird paradise where you can find 109 different beautiful bird species including the Tyto Alba, a hooded owl which is symbol of the Belek region. This can be observed easily during the 12 months of the year.

Belek is 30km form Antalya airport, which is about a 20 minute drive, it gives the passenger time to take in the view of this beautiful country. There are two sandy beaches 5 minutes away from the apartments, and with 300 days of sunshine to boast about it is a paradise for sunworshipers and swimmers and if your inclined sporting activities like windsurfing, water-skiing, sailing etc., If you travel here during March and april, you can ski in the mornings in Antalya and swim in the warm waters of the Mediterranean in the afternoon in Belek!
